Diamonds Bolster squad with new signing
AFC Rushden & Diamonds WF made another impressive signing today as they continued their preparation for the new season, with the arrival of Defensive Rock Dave McCarthy from “The Manor"
McCarthy, 50 from Raunds accepted the offer from Diamonds to become their first player to have played in the Home Counties league.
Dave was presented his shirt by AFC WF mouthpiece Dick Chaplin, 87 ;-)
Looking forward to the season, Dick said he was looking forward to the banter he would have with his team mates, his team mates are just hoping they can get a word in edgeways.
