A ‘Kick about for Kids’ charity match has been arranged against Wellingborough Redwell WFC and will be held at The Ferrers School, Higham Ferrers on Sunday 4th September, 2016.
The match will help to raise money for the “Cash For Kids” network of charities, whose mission is to respond to the needs of children in communities, aspiring to enable all children to live life to the full and achieve their individual potential. AFC R&D Youth will be making a £50 donation alongside this game.
Additionally, the AFC Rushden & Diamonds Community Section is arranging a number of events this season to help to raise awareness of Wilson’s Disease as detailed here.
There will be a collection on the day to support this cause, or people can donate directly via this link.
The pitch has been booked between 11.00 am and 1.00 pm.
The event is open to everyone involved in our walking football sessions so please come along on the day to support this event which is for a very worthy cause.
